Lexmark Drum Reset Instructions

Lexmark E260 Drum reset procedure

Install the toner cartridge into the new/re-manufactured drum unit. With the front door still open, Press and hold the “X” Button for 5 seconds. On the E260 the lights will cycle. Close the front door.

Lexmark E340/E342 Drum reset procedure

Turn the printer off. With the printer still off, press and hold the SELECT and RETURN buttons. While still holding the buttons down, turn the printer back on. Keep holding them down until the screen shows PERFORMING SELF TEST or CONFIG MENU. Release the buttons when either of these messages are displayed. Press the left or right arrow buttons until RESET PC CNT appears on the display. Press the SELECT button. When the display shows CONFIG MENU again, turn the printer off. Wait 5 seconds and turn the printer back on. (Do not hold any buttons down this time). The counter is reset.

Lexmark E360/E460 (E260 Unit) Drum reset procedure

Install the toner cartridge into the new/re-manufactured drum unit. With the front door still open, Press and hold the “X” Button for 5 seconds. On the E360/E460 the display will read "Resetting PC". Close the front door.

Lexmark X203/X204 MFC OEM#X203H22G Drum reset procedure

Open printer door. Press and hold ‘STOP” for three seconds. ‘RESETTING PC COUNTER” appears on the LCD.

Close the printer door.

Counter is now reset.
